Detroit Area BBQ Restaurants |
||
CommentsI go to Laurel Park Mall all the time. I haven't been to Tony Roma's there, but I've been to Tony Roma's in other areas of the country. I always enjoy going to the locally owned restaurants as much as possible. I try to stay away from chains if possible. Not that I have anything against chains, but I enjoy supporting the owner operators too. It's not bbq, but there's a new hamburger joint in down town Plymouth that is pretty good. If you haven't tried it yet, I'd recommend it the next time you're in Plymouth. We went downtown to check out the ice sculptures last weekend. Thu Jan 27, 2005 5:33 pm MST by The BBQ Guy
bbqguy, Just got your link from the HomeBBQ site. We're practically neighbors. I live just a few suburbs to the east of you. I don't know of many BBQ restaurants that you could try but I certainly know of one you shouldn't try... Famous Dave's in Westland. Probably the worst ribs I have ever eaten in my life. All sauce, oversmoked... terrible. Tony Roma's in the Laurel Park mall weren't bad. Pricy though. Other than that. Don't know of any others. Memphis Smoke used to have pretty decent BBQ.. but I don't know if they're still around. peace... jim Thu Jan 27, 2005 1:08 pm MST by pga2ur
